Everything inside!

Thanksgiving 2021 was extra lit now that families can safely come together after missing out on loved ones last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The biggest family day of the year just rolled around and several of our faves were busy living it up with family and friends. Not to mention, looking good while doing so. Before hitting up the dinner table, Kelly Rowland slayed her way to the 95th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.

Judge Rules Vanessa Bryant Must Turn Over Mental Health Records In Fatal Crash Photos Lawsuit

Vanessa Bryant is being ordered to hand over personal mental health records in her invasion of privacy lawsuit against Los Angeles County. She filed the lawsuit after first responders shared pictures of her husband Kobe Bryant, daughter Gianna Bryant’s bodies from the helicopter crash site that killed them and seven others. Details inside…

New updates about the invasion of privacy lawsuit Vanessa Bryant filed against Los Angeles County are trickling in.

According to reports, a judge ordered Kobe Bryant’s widow to turn over four years of therapy records, spanning from January 1, 2017, to the present. The move comes two weeks after U.S. Magistrate Judge Charles Eick rejected the county’s request to force Vanessa to undergo a psychiatric exam. He ruled that the county’s motion to force Vanessa and others to undergo the evaluation was untimely, as the trial is scheduled for February.

The 39-year-old widow filed the invasion of privacy lawsuit against the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Sheriff Alex Villanueva, and the county in September 2020. She’s seeking damages for emotional distress and mental anguish after learning eight L.A. County Sheriff’s Department deputies allegedly took graphic photographs of the victims at the crash site and shared them with unauthorized people.

Sheriff Alex Villanueva confirmed members of his department took and shared the photos in personal settings, but the county is arguing Vanessa is suffering emotional distress strictly due to the death of her husband and daughter and not the photos since they were never released to the public. Only the county coroner’s office and investigators with the National Transportation Safety Board were permitted to photograph the crash scene.

In response to the suit, the county filed a motion asking the court to grant it access to Vanessa’s therapy records that date back to 2017 and it was granted. Mrs. Bryant and her therapist have to produce the requested documents by November 29th.

Prior to Judge Eick’s ruling, Mrs. Bryant’s attorney – Mari Saigal – argued the request for therapy records further invades her privacy.

“This effort should be seen for what it is: an attempt to bully Mrs. Bryant into dropping her case to avoid her private therapy records being brandished in open court and reported on by media outlets,” the attorney wrote.

Miller Barondess, a law firm representing L.A. County, argued that the motion wasn’t an intimidation tactic, but a "routine part of discovery."

“When a plaintiff puts her mental condition at issue and demands compensation for severe emotional distress, like Plaintiff has done here, she opens the door to discovery about her mental health,” the filing reads. “The County’s request for Plaintiff’s therapy records is not an intimidation tactic, as Plaintiff argues; it’s a routine part of discovery in emotional distress cases."

In June 2021, Vanessa Bryant and the family members of the seven other victims reached a settlement in the wrongful death lawsuit launched last year over the devestating helicopter crash that killed NBA icon Kobe Bryant, their 13-year-old daughter Gianna "Gigi" Bryant and seven others – including John Altobelli, Keri Altobelli, Alyssa Altobelli, Sarah Chester, Payton Chester, Ara Zobayan, and Christina Mauser – in January 2020.

Island Express Helicopters, Inc. (the company that operated the Sikorsky helicopter), the estate of the pilot Ara Zobayan (who perished himself in the crash) and another company agreed to settle the claims. The terms of the settlement are confidential.

Earlier this month, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors approved a $2.5 million settlement involving the Mauser and Altobelli families. They filed a lawsuit similar to Vanessa’s, alleging employees "showed off" photos of the deadly crash.

Vanessa’s trial will begin in February, 22, 2022. The other two families agreed to settle for $1.25 million each.

Over the weekend…

Vanessa was honored with the ‘Giving Tree Award’ for her dedication to children in need at the Baby2Baby 10 Year Gala Presented by Paul Mitchell.

The event celebrated the 10th anniversary of Baby2Baby, a nonprofit that provides basic essentials to children living in poverty, and raised more than $8.5 million to support the organization’s critical COVID-19 and disaster relief efforts to support families and communities disproportionately affected by the pandemic.

Her gorgeous daughter, Natalia Bryant, was in attendance to celebrate her mother.

Richard Sherman & Russell Wilson Thrown Into An Alleged IG Model Cheating Scandal, But Here’s Why The Math Ain’t Mathin’!

What in the screwing married men who play for the Seattle Seahawks is going on? An alleged friend to NFL player Richard Sherman‘s wife Ashley Moss confronted a woman on social media for getting pregnant by a married man.

People believe the friend indirectly accused an IG model named Reina Westburg of being Richard Sherman’s side chick and getting pregnant by him for a bag. She also claims Reina’s best friend is claiming to be pregnant by Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, Ciara‘s husband. There’s no receipts of Reina or the unnamed friend making these claims, but Russell was still trending #1 because of the drama.

The math isn’t mathin’! More inside…

Cheating allegations with married men on the Seattle Seahawks? Oh yes, folks were getting exposed for cheating and making babies outside of their marriage – well, kinda. Honestly, the Twitter thread has us scratching our heads because some of the allegations just didn’t add up. There was a lot of information shared, but not enough to connect ALL of the dots.

There’s a thread on here that’s accusing Russell Wilson of allegedly cheating and getting a woman pregnant. The Wilson’s seem like the type that would sue for defamation. Good luck everybody.

— First Lady Sycamore (@Connichameleon2) September 6, 2021

It appears a friend of Seahawks baller Richard Sherman’s wife Ashley Moss went viral after she blasted an alleged side chick of Richard’s. In a Twitter thread, Ashley’s alleged friend (@damnit_mann, pictured above bottom left) accused IG model Reina Westberg (above, pictured bottom right) of getting PREGNANT by a married man who plays for the Seattle Seahawks. In tweets that have been deleted, the friend hinted Reina got pregnant by a married man who plays on the Seattle Seahawks, although she never posted a name.

"Y’all out here F*CKING WITH MARRIED MEN thinking that sh*t cute," she tweeted. "Sure u owe no loyalty..But u two broads should have some morals. Y’all wanted a bag? Didn’t Brittany Renner tell y’all to get a single athlete? She didn’t mean a married one. I see you @reinawestberg"

Yikes.

"Hey @reinawestberg you care to tell us what married man you were sleeping with to get pregnant? You’re posting all those religious leader quotes. This is unforgivable..God don’t like ugly," she continued.

"Remember what happened to the harlots mentioned in the Bible @reinawestberg. You’re out here ruining homes. And that baby won’t get the love it deserves because you don’t know how to love or respect anything. U think you’re gonna get a bag from this?! You’re not getting sh*t but neglect…You can take my words to the bank you troglodyte @reinawestberg"

The ladies went back and forth on social media before Reina decided to call the friend on IG. It appears Reina argued with this woman at her baby shower. Who does that?! Take a listen to their discussion below:

In a deleted tweet, the friend accused Reina’s friend of bragging about sleeping with quarterback Russell Wilson and being pregnant by him.

"Hey @reinawestberg you also wanna share how your bestfriend is claiming to be knocked up by Russell Wilson?," she tweeted. "Go ahead and share who your bd is… come clean… I triple dog dare you boo," according to screenshot captured by WAGS Unfiltered.

When asked about it, she back tracked that comment:

While there was some confusion about WHO was actually cheating, the friend did clarify that Russell Wilson does NOT have a baby out of wedlock on the way:

Sis made sure to cover her a** before a defamation suit was sent her way.

While she never said WHO Reina was cheating with and was pregnant by, fans believe its Richard Sherman especially since the woman going off on Reina is friends with Richard’s wife, Ashley, on social media:

Hmph.

So why is the friend so invested? She claims Reina has been stalking her friend:

It all just sounds like a bunch of mess being that there aren’t any REAL receipts to what’s really going on. Especially with the "friend" seemingly copping an attitude whenever anyone asks her to explain what exactly she’s saying. She could have easily tweeted the actual name of the married man Reina allegedly had sex and made a baby with.

If what the friend is saying is true, one could argue that’s what triggered him a few months ago. Maybe his wife found out about this alleged baby and threatened to leave, which resulted in him trying to break down his wife’s family door and his arrest on a possible burglary domestc violence charge. This is all speculation.

Again, nothing has been confirmed. But, usually where there’s smoke, there’s fire…

Vanessa Bryant & Families Of Other Victims Reach Settlement With Helicopter Company Over Deadly Crash

Kobe Bryant‘s widow Vanessa Bryant and the family members of the seven other victims in the deadly helicopter crash have reached a settlement with the charter company that operated the helicopter. Details inside…

Vanessa Bryant – widow of Kobe Bryant – and the family members of the seven other victims have reached a settlement in the wrongful death lawsuit launched last year over the helicopter crash that killed NBA icon Kobe Bryant, their 13-year-old daughter Gianna "Gigi" Bryant and seven others – including John Altobelli, Keri Altobelli, Alyssa Altobelli, Sarah Chester, Payton Chester, Ara Zobayan, and Christina Mauser – in January 2020.

According to paperwork, Island Express Helicopters, Inc. (the company that operated the Sikorsky helicopter), the estate of the pilot Ara Zobayan (who perished himself in the crash) and another company agreed to settle the claims.

The terms of the settlement are confidential and still have to be finalized.

“The material terms of the settlement and releases are known to the settling parties and include that the terms of the settlement are confidential,” according to the filing in Los Angeles Superior Court (obtained by Deadline).

“The settling parties are currently finalizing settlement documents, which include the necessary documentation for approving compromise of the minors’ claims,” the 7-page “Joint Notice of Settlement and Joint Request to Vacate Discovery Deadlines” said.

Deadline reports:

In the February 24, 2020 lawsuit, the widow of Kobe Bryant and her attorneys claimed that weather conditions on the day of her husband and daughter’s death were clearly not suitable for flying. The suit laid out conditions that pilot Zobayan failed to address before and during the fatal flight that January 2020 morning out of Orange County,

That premise was backed up by the National Transportation Safety Board earlier this year. A NTSB probe of the accident released its findings in February and determined that pilot error was directly behind the crash. Specifically that Zobayan was in violation of both his training and federal rules that warn against flying into heavy clouds, as the helicopter pilot did that day.

While this lawsuit is settled, Vanessa is still tangled in court with a lawsuit she filed against the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department after deputies shared the graphic photos taken at the helicopter crash scene. She filed the lawsuit against the department, Sheriff Alex Villanueva, and the county in September 2020.

While we’re sure they’re glad the company is taking responsibility for the crash, no amount of money can replace their loved ones.

To keep her mind off things….

Now We Need Jordyn Woods’ Prayer After The Way Karl-Anthony Towns Surprised Her On Her Late Father’s Birthday

Looks like Jordyn Woods may have nabbed a keeper! Her NBA boyfriend Karl-Anthony Towns surprised her in the sweetest way on her late dad’s birthday. Get into their Black Love inside…

It’s us again, God.

Y’all have been asking Ciara for the prayer she said before getting in a relationship with Russell Wilson. Now, you ladies may have to hound Jordyn Woods for the deets on HER prayer that got nabbed her NBA BAE Karl-Anthony Towns because he’s getting all of the boyfriend brownie points.

The Minnesota Timberwolves center spoiled his girlfriend on what would have been her late father’s 61st birthday. Jordyn’s dad, John Woods, was a sound engineer on the hit 90s sitcom, “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.” Sadly, he passed away in 2017 just two weeks after he was diagnosed with cancer. To bring some joy and happiness on her dad’s birthday, he surprised her with some gifts.

In a few IG Stories posts, Jordyn shared how Karl sent a telegram with the sweetest words, along with balloons and flowers. A telegram, y’all! He clearly has mastered her love language.

”@karltowns said he was filling in the missing space for my dad not being here,” she captioned a video of all her gifts.

The 25-year-old NBA star laced his woman with a new Hermès Birkin bag (nice investment), tons of new sneakers, her favorite drinks and roses.

Jordy has been in Minnesota with Karl as he puts in work for the NBA season. We wonder if they’ll be jetting to Atlanta this weekend for All-Star Weekend. They probably won’t since he blasted the NBA for hosting All-Star Weekend due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Last April, he tragically lost his mother to the virus. Back in January, he announced he tested positive, but is now back playing on the court.

“I personally don’t believe there should be an All-Star Game, but what the hell do I know?," he said sarcastically.

Controversial NFL QB Dwayne Haskins Is A Free Agent After Washington Releases Him + ESPN Analyst Doubles Down On Problematic Comments About Black QBs

NFL quarterback Dwayne Haskins was let go by the Washington Football Team for under performing and breaking COVID-19 protocol. ESPN analyst Booger McFarland served up a problematic reaction to Haskins’ firing about Black quarterbacks that’s just… wrong. More inside…

Taking a job with the NFL is a dream come true for athletes who long to hit the gridiron in hopes of a championship. However, it’s hard work. It’s takes discipline, sacrifice and strength to get banged up by 300lb men every week.

Sometimes it’s too much for some players – like quarterback Dwayne Haskins.

Yesterday, the Washington Football Team announced they were releasing last year’s first-round draft pick with just one game remaining in the season. He is now a free agent after he went unclaimed on waivers today, which means that 31 teams had a chance to claim the 2019 first-round draft pick and his contract by Tuesday’s deadline, and they all passed. Yikes.

The Washington Football Team is currently fighting for a spot in the NFL playoffs, so this tells you the team wanted him gone expeditiously *T.I. voice*.

Head coach Ron Rivera released a statement shortly after waiving the QB:

WFT statement: pic.twitter.com/naLNG4U4kR

— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) December 28, 2020

“This afternoon I met with Dwayne and informed him that we would be releasing him,” Head Coach Rivera wrote in a statement. “I told him I believe it would benefit both parties if we go our separate ways. We want to thank Dwayne for his contributions these last two seasons and wish him well moving forward.”

The 23-year-old athlete also released a statement after he was waived from the team:

“My time with the WFT has unfortunately come to an end. I thank he team & fans for the opportunity to play for the team I grew up rooting for. I take full responsibility for not meeting the standards of a NFL QB & will become a better man & better player because of this experience.”

He then made his Twitter account private.

This wasn’t a good season for the young NFLer. He served up a poor performances on the field and last week he violated the team’s COVID-19 protocol by attending a strip club. Sighs…

Yahoo Sports reports:

Haskins never delivered on his promise as a first-round pick in Washington. In 16 games including 13 starts, Haskins completed 60.1 percent of his passes for an average of 175.3 yards per game with 12 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. He took 49 sacks for a loss of 345 yards. Washington went 3-10 in the games that he started.

He was benched twice this season by first-year Washington head coach Ron Rivera. His second benching arrived Sunday amid a poor effort against the Carolina Panthers. It also arrived on the heels of Haskins’ second COVID-19 protocol violation of the season. That violation led to Rivera stripping him of his captaincy.

ESPN’s Booger McFarland – a former NFLer – hopped on national television and spewed some problematic rhetoric about Black players where race shouldn’t even matter in the situation.

Here’s the thing, if you’re not cut out for the NFL, you’re just not cut out. As McFarland shared his opinion about Haskins’ situationship, he generalized his statements that included almost all of the league’s players, being that the majority of the NFL is black.

"They come into this league and they ask themselves the wrong things," the 43-year-old analyst said on ESPN. "They come into the league saying not, ‘How can I become a better player?’ They don’t say, ‘How can I become a better teammate?’ They don’t say, ‘How can I be a better person. How can I get my organization over the hump?’ Here is what they come in saying: ‘How can I build my brand better? How can I build my social media following better? How can I work out on Instagram and show everybody that I’m ready to go, but when I get to the game, I don’t perform?’"

After the show aired, Booger reposted the clip on his Twitter account and doubled down on his comments about Black QBs:

My message was to all players which I said but specifically to the part of the NFL that’s makes up almost 70% the AA players. And of course I’m not speaking to ALL but in my 20+ years around the NFL I’ve seen to many cases. I stand by what I said whether u agree or disagree pic.twitter.com/6buvIc7Tje

— Booger (@ESPNBooger) December 29, 2020

”My message was to all players which I said but specifically to the part of the NFL that’s makes up almost 70% the AA players. And of course I’m not speaking to ALL but in my 20+ years around the NFL I’ve seen to many cases. I stand by what I said whether u agree or disagree,” McFarland tweeted.

We hate how race was the focal point of his argument when it’s more so a generational issue.

Last night, a grown man named “Booger” got on TV and blamed an entire generation of Black #NFL players for the bad decisions #DwayneHaskins willingly made.

It’s a shallow and lazy take. Booger McFarland was loud, and wrong.

I wrote about it.@Deadspinhttps://t.co/R04N1BFW2f pic.twitter.com/ekMEo63sy3

— Carron J. Phillips (@carronJphillips) December 29, 2020

Booger going off on Haskins like white QBs have never done the same. Johnny Manziel, Ryan Leaf and Todd Marinovich just to name a few. Black QBs in the league right now are some of the best. Needs to get off his high horse. This isn’t a "AA" problem. Some people just can’t cut it

— T-New Year (@TPriest71) December 29, 2020

How fast we forget about the problematic Johnny Manziels of the NFL that constantly got in trouble, yet, he wasn’t a representation of all white players in the league. Another troublesome QB that comes to mind is Ben Rroethlisberger.  Did anyone come down on either of them and generalized all the white players? No. What Haskins did was immature and not smart, but his actions aren’t a representation of all the Black players in the league. Russell Wilson, anyone?

Former NFL tight end/activist Martellus Bennett reacted to Booger’s comments and went IN. He also made a lot of valid points as well. Read his tweets below:

I see Booger digging for gold but only found shit.

— Martellus Bennett (@MartysaurusRex) December 29, 2020

To get on TV and say that it’s a black player thing is stupid. Tom Brady builds his brand on social media. LeBron James. Russell Wilson. Fuck every body building a brand on social media these days.

— Martellus Bennett (@MartysaurusRex) December 29, 2020

It was a bad decision made by a young kid. And it was really only a bad decision because of the circumstances.

— Martellus Bennett (@MartysaurusRex) December 29, 2020

Hey African American athletes build the fuck outta your brand while you can because the league can dump you whenever they feel like it. Build your business while you play. Build everything outside of the game while you have that stage.

— Martellus Bennett (@MartysaurusRex) December 29, 2020

And black constantly ask those questions how can I get better, I can help my team if that wasn’t the truth the league wouldn’t be 70% black. So that’s some bullshit too. Niggas be tripping on TV.

— Martellus Bennett (@MartysaurusRex) December 29, 2020

The team is constantly building their brand especially Washington who is in the middle of a rebrand because dumb decisions they made. Lol.

— Martellus Bennett (@MartysaurusRex) December 29, 2020

Let me get back to building my brand(s).

— Martellus Bennett (@MartysaurusRex) December 29, 2020

Sports journalist Taylor Rooks also reacted to Booger’s comments:

It’s not productive to make broad generalizations about black people or black players. Or anyone, really.
I’m sure many players do think about the wrong things. But if we’re singling out black players – there are SO many black players that do all the right things in the league.

— Taylor Rooks (@TaylorRooks) December 29, 2020

And that’s just that on that!

FROM CORNERBACK TO QUARTERBACK: Draya Rumored To Be Dating Chargers QB Tyrod Taylor

Word on the curb is that Draya Michele is now dating Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Tyrod Taylor. It seems she may have thrown an early birthday party for him before he heads off to pre-season training. More inside…

Draya Michele loves herself a baller.

If you haven’t heard, the Mint Swim owner called it quits with her fiancé/former Cowboys cornerback Orlando Scandrick. She let the world know she and Orlando called off their engagement (for good) back in December 2019.

Since then, the 35-year-old mom-of-two has been on social media begging Ciara for the prayer she prayed to get Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. We’re not sure if she got in contact with CiCi directly, but she now has a NFL quarterback of her own. Allegedly.

Over the weekend, the former “Basketball Wives L.A.” star hosted a (mask free?) dinner party with her friends and fans quickly noticed she used/tagged Tyrod’s photographer (Jay Spinks). Tyrod was also spotted in the cut in one of the photos Draya posted to her IG Stories.

If you look to the left behind the woman in a white blouse, you see Tyrod. Barely, but it’s him. You’ll notice he has on a cognac leather jacket, the same he wore in the picture he posted to his IG over the weekend. And he tagged his photog as well.

Tyrod turns 31 on August 3rd. You’ll notice she mentioned Leo season in one of her posts, so this was likely an early birthday celebration. According to reports, NFL quarterbacks and injured players were supposed to report to pre-season training camp on July 23rd. However, all players must report by July 28th, so maybe he’s not returning until the 28th. It’s reported he’ll start this season.

About two weeks ago, it’s believed Draya and Tyrod were chilling together in Mexico. Ty’s personal chef posted pictures from Cancun on July 12th:

He’s cute. It’s unclear if he has children, but he appears to be baby mama drama free.

He seems to love kids too:

We wonder what he thinks about Draya’s comments about Megan Thee Stallion’s shooting drama with Tory Lanez. You’ll recall, Draya compared the shooting to a Bobby Brown & Whitney Houston-type love and that she would want to be with someone who would love her so much they would shoot her in the foot.

Thoughts on this possible new couple?

NFL Training Camp Set To Start, But Players Are Pissed About The Lack Of Coronavirus Safety Precautions

The NFL’s training camp is set to start tomorrow (for the rookies), but players are understandably concerned about the lack of safety precautions amid the Coronavirus pandemic. More inside…

The NFL is moving forward with plans to kick off the 2020-21 NFL season. However, players are concerned about the lack of safety measures.

Here’s the pre-season training schedule they’ve laid out for players to return:

July 21st – Rookies

July 23rd – Quarterback and injured players

July 28th – All other players

Today (July 20th), the Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans rookies are scheduled to report.

Now, don’t get it twisted. NFL players want to play. However, they have raised concerns via social media about the league’s Coronavirus safety precautions…or lack thereof.

Several NFL players have hopped on social media creating posts with the hashtag #WeWantToPlay. Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson opened up about his concerns catching the virus with his wife Ciara being pregnant. In the past, Ciara revealed both kids have asthma, so they are even more at risk.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes wants to play, but wants to keep his family safe:

Getting ready to report this week hoping the @NFL will come to agreement with the safe and right protocols so we can feel protected playing the sport we love #WeWantToPlay

By the way, the Super Bowl winning QB and reigning Super Bowl MVP recently signed the biggest contract in sports history. Details HERE.

Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt spoke out:

Once again in the interest of keeping everyone (players & fans) as informed as possible, here is an updated list of what we as players know and don’t know as the first group gets set to report to training camp tomorrow.#WeWantToPlay pic.twitter.com/xQcjs33zgM

And several other players had something to say:

Numerous NFL players have taken to social media today to give their take on why they’re saying #WeWantToPlay, but are also calling out the league for ignoring scientific protocols that will keep them safe. #YBFSports

As for how the rest of the season plays out, it’s seemingly still up in the air:

So it now appears likely the NFL will have either one preseason game or none in 2020. Focus continues to be on playing a full regular season and postseason. #Chiefs rookies and QBs and #Texans rookies are the first to report today, as talks between the NFL and NFLPA continue. https://t.co/bJc0r3aY4j

According to reports, the NFL and the players’ union are still negotiating the details of the league’s protocols to prevent the spread of the virus. We shall see…
