Will Smith, Cardi B To Appear On David Letterman’s Netflix Show + Queen Latifah’s ‘Equalizer’ Renewed For Seasons 3 & 4!

David Letterman has tapped Will Smith and Cardi B as his next guests to appear on his hit Netflix show. Also, Queen Latifah’s show “Equalizer” has been renewed for two additional seasons. Woot! More inside…

There’s much to discuss, especially for Will Smith and Cardi B. They’ll have a chance to let it all out in a candid discussion with David Letterman for a new season of his hit Netflix series, “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman.”

The fourth season of the show will kick off on Friday, May 20th on Netflix and it includes candid discussions with Hollywood titan Will Smith and rap queen Cardi B.

Will this be the first time the Bad Boys star talks about the infamous Oscars slap? No. All of the episodes were filmed prior to March 2022, so Will’s episode was filmed before the infamous slap.

Last month, Will was seen for the first time since the Oscars slap in Mumbai, India. As you know, Will apologized several times and then resigned from the Academy after he walked on stage during the Academy Awards and slapped Chris Rock after he made a “G.I. Jane” joke about his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith’s bald head.

Later, the Academy banned the 53-year-old actor from the Oscars gala and other Academy events for 10 years. Since then, Chris Rock has been on a comedy tour where he shared he’s not talking about the slap until he gets paid.

It’s reported Will has been going to therapy post-Oscars.

As for Cardi…

The Grammy Award winning rapper has plenty to discuss as well as she navigates her personal life, love life and career while being mommy to two adorable kids, Kulture and Wave.

As far as drama, the “UP” rapper was recently scored a victory in court involving the defamation lawsuit she filed against YouTuber Tasha K for slandering her name. A judge awarded Cardi $4 million in damages for defamation, invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Tasha K filed an appeal, which she promised to do after the ruling, in an effort to have the judgement overturned. We wonder what she has to say about it all.

There’s much to discuss.

Other guests joining Letterman include Kevin Durant, Billie Eilish, Ryan Reynolds and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

Also coming to television…

TV buffs are LOVING Queen Latifah in “The Equalizer.” So much so, CBS has renewed the drama for TWO more seasons, which will take the series through its fourth year in 2023-24. Queen Latifah stars in the show – which is an update of the 80s CBS drama with the same title – and is an executive producer.

“The Equalizer continues to pack a powerful punch on Sunday nights, and we’re thrilled to have it back for two more seasons,” said Thom Sherman, senior executive vp programming at CBS Entertainment.

“The success of The Equalizer is due to the sum of its parts — an outstanding cast led by the superb Queen Latifah, plus the exceptional creative team that has continued to evolve their storytelling with a compelling mix of everyday justice, family dynamics and real-world issues that connect and resonate with audiences.”

Queen is killing her role too! Congrats.

Hip Hop pioneer Queen Latifah was given her flowers after decades of putting in work, which ultimately opened the doors for generations of Black women in music and entertainment.

The mutli-hyphenate star (whose real name is Dana Owens) was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award during the 2021 BET Awards, hosted by Taraji P. Henson. This year’s awards show theme was "Year of the Black Woman" and they made sure to celebrate all women.

For the tribute, Rapsody kicked things off with "Ladies First," before she was joined by British rap star Monie Love. NYC raptress Lil Kim hit the stage for a rendition of "U.N.I.T.Y." and then rap queen MC Lyte joined her on stage to finish the track.

“Queen Latifah, we are here today to give you your flowers — your so-deserved flowers, long-overdue flowers. You are the first Queen! The Queen! My Queen! Thanks for paving the way for us. Thank you," Kim said at the end of tribute performance.

Check it out below:

Queen Latifah hit the stage to thank the ladies for the honor.

"Thank you so much, everyone. Thank you, my sisters – y’all my sisters in the name of rap. You always have been. I’m so extremely moved that I don’t even know what to say. Let me just say that I want to thank God because God designed this whole thing to be this way," the 51-year-old entertainer said during her acceptance speech.

She went on to thank her family and friends, including her dad (who was right there with her) and her mom (who passed away in 2018). She used a picture of her mother on the back of her acceptance speech as well.

"There is no way that I could have had the parents that I was born to – my father, my mother [who died in 2018], who is still so much in me – my family, I love you – my siblings. My best friends who ride or die with me whether my face is on the dirt or I’m flying in the skies – they know me. And they’re there for me," she said while getting emotional.

Queen thanked her longtime Flavor Unit Entertainment business partner Shakim Compere and she also gave a rare shoutout to the two people closest to her.

“Eboni, my love, Rebel, my love” she said, which is a reference to her partner Eboni Nichols and their son. “Peace, happy Pride,” she ended her speech.

WE'RE OUTSIDE WITH IT: A LOOK AT THE 2021 BET AWARDS RED CARPET

August Alsina Confirms His ‘Relationship’ With Jada Pinkett Smith, Reveals He Got Will’s ‘Blessing’

Queen Latifah‘s face in the background (above) was and still is all of us. August Alsina just confirmed his own tea about his and Jada Pinkett Smith‘s relationship, and he also confirmed the longtime rumor about Will & Jada’s "open relationship".

Welp. Can’t say we saw this coming on a random Tuesday night. But, in 2020, literally anything is possible.

For several years now, it’s been rumored that Will and Jada’s marriage is actually an open relationship.

Jada alluded to it back in 2013 when she hinted that she and her husband of over two decades trust each other enough where Will can do whatever he wants. She then clarified her statement posting:

"Here is how I will change my statement…Will and I BOTH can do WHATEVER we want, because we TRUST each other to do so. This does NOT mean we have an open relationship…this means we have a GROWN one."

Hmph.

A couple years later, singer August Alsina seemed to suddenly be attached at the hip with the whole Smith family, mainly Jada.

They would pose it up together on family vacays to Hawaii and share the pics on social media. Jada and August were getting cozy at tennis matches and things, and even hitting the BET Awards red carpet together in 2017 (pictured above).

August credited Jada with helping him with his Percocet addiction (which they discussed during his appearance on Red Table Talk). But, it also appears there was some truth to rumors that he and Jada were having an affair…or a relationship outside of Will & Jada’s open marriage.

August recently sat down with Angela Yee to talk about life and his new 27-track album he just dropped, The Product III: stateofEMERGEncy.   And, of course, the convo turned to the hot actress and mom. August got emotional, and revealed he had never loved someone so much or experienced such love with someone that he did with Jada.

“I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life, and I truly and really, really deeply love and have a ton of love for her. I devoted myself to it, I gave my full self to it—so much so to the point that I can die right now and be OK with knowing that I truly gave myself to somebody.”

He also revealed that he lost jobs and money over people thinking he was having an affair with Jada.

“I really loved a person, I experienced that and I know what that feels like—and some people never get that in this lifetime. I know that I am completely blessed and this conversation is difficult because it is so much, that it would be hard for people to understand but—once it starts to affect me and my livelihood—I have to speak up about my truth.”

What folks didn’t know is that August actually had "a sit down" with Will who, according to August, gave him and Jada his "blessing" for them to engage in a relationship.  August said this occured when Jada and Will had shifted into a "life partnership."

“I actually sat down with Will [Smith] and had a conversation due to the transformation from their marriage to life partnership… He gave me his blessing.”

Oh?!

Check it at the 16 minute mark below:

Last April, August did a remake of Kehlani’s “Nunya” hit. On the song, August sings about wanting more from his girlfriend, and wants her to make him a priority. One line goes, “You’re just an actress putting on a show,” and a GIF of Jada Pinkett appears on the screen.

It sent tongues wagging, and the fact he included what appears to be his and Jada’s text messages didn’t help.  In another part of the video, you see a text between August and a woman by the name of Koren – which is Jada’s real life middle name.

It seems their relationship – and what may have been the end of it around that time – hit August hard.

In the sit down interview, August also opens up about the loss of his sister, raising her three kids as his own, his rare autoimmune disease, and more.

Lil Baby – Crush A Lot Lyrics

[Intro]
Cook that shit up, Quay

[Chorus]
I can’t fuck with shawty, know she’ll tell
Slim shit, look like Draya Michele
I been goin’ crazy, givin’ ’em hell
She ain’t tryna go with me, I’ma pay her
I crush a lot, baby girl, I’m a player
Connect the dots then I plug up the scale
If we get caught, they gon’ give me the chair
Fuck the law, make ’em earn what they pay ’em

[Verse 1]
Ain’t no back and fourth with no bitches, ain’t tinted
Rolls Royce truck, bitch, it ain’t rented
And they braggin’ ’bout bitches, I promise we hit ’em
I flooded my wrist, let the bros split a million
At this point I’m heartless I ain’t got no feelings
Buy every building in the hood for my children
Like a Drake song, got your vibe feelin’ groovy
With no phone, we can make us a movie
I ain’t in my bag, I still got my feet out
If we wanted smoke with y’all, you couldn’t be out
Free the bros, buy my shit off the kiosk
I’m at the vibe with the spot, this the creep house
Lil’ shawty suck it like she just took her teeth out
Five percent tint on the whip, you can’t see out
Ready to set it off, Queen Latifah
These niggas talk like bitches, see what they be ’bout

[Verse 2]
Ain’t no complaining, money coming in
Put it all up, do it all again
First you get a mil’, then it’s times ten
Youngest out the crew, AMG Benz
Stand up like a man, take it on the chin
They got consequences in this life of sin
Laugh about it, go in Gucci, spend a ten
When you come home, we gon’ all win
Go in any club and make it thunderstorm, this shit reckless
He gon’ knock you off with his Rollie on
Drive the Rolls Royce like a hotbox, really came from nothin’
Only ride with my security because I can’t be armed
Can’t get caught with another gun
They gon’ know me when I’m gone
They hear my pain inside my songs
It’s like switch, I cut it on
Pills kick in, gettin’ in my zone
Do my job, ain’t see no wrong
I’m never talkin’ on them phones
Feds gon’ try to do us wrong
Man, they got my nigga Long
Lately I just been alone
My cup, my strap, this microphone
Nobody know what’s goin on
Just glad I made it off the road
Granddaddy showed me life is a gamble
Ever since I been on them dice
They gon’ suck it up like a bowl of rice
I’ma give it to them niggas every time

Royce Da 5’9″ – Caterpillar (feat. Eminem & King Green) lyrics

[Intro: Gil Scott-Heron]
You will not be able to stay home, brotha
You will not be able to plug in, turn on and cop out
You will not be able to lose yourself on skag and skip out for beer during commercials
Because the revolution will not be televised

[Chorus: King Green]
This right here for the number one
Number ones here with your number one
You ain’t number one, just another one
Now everybody sayin’ that they number one

[Post-Chorus: Royce Da 5’9]
Ring the alarm, the caterpillar keeps firing
Ohh, we in the war, where butterflies keep dyin’ (ahh)

[Verse 1: Royce Da 5’9]
I’m a product of Parker Lewis and Kubiak
If didn’t do this, where in the fuck would you be at?
See there’s a difference between us, what I spit hit arenas
You a drip from my penis, I eat lions and sip hyenas
You number one when it come to slaughtered mics
I’m tryna be number one in my son and daughter life
Uhh, all you niggas my little rapper babies
Y’all my children, y’all bit my shit and contracted rabies
Don’t you rate me next to these rappers, baby, that’s degrading
My style got so many different facets
I switch into so many different passions
I’m skippin’ class to be fascinatin’
My pen is like Big Ben, this shit’s just a classic waiting
Your favorite rapper come at me, I just decapitate him
Out here congratulating these has-beens who had their highs
These rappers only won their matches because they strategize
I bring [etiquette] to these patterns, and here’s my battle cry

[Pre-Chorus: Royce Da 5’9]
Ring the alarm, the caterpillar is firing
Ohh, we in the war, where butterflies keep dyin’ (ahh)

[Chorus: King Green]
This right here for the number one
Number ones here with your number one
You ain’t number one, just another one
Now everybody sayin’ that they number one
Kid think your number won’t quit
Number one song, get your number one chick
Number one fly with your number one kick
When it’s all done then your number gon’ switch

[Verse 2: Royce Da 5’9]
Hold up, wait a minute
Guess what I’ma never do
Show so much respect to you
That I feel like we’re friends, so now we no longer competitors
That could be the death of you
Never let someone who’s not as smart as you
Gas you up and tell you somethin’ you never knew
Always stay professional
You always gon’ make revenue
Don’t let people next to you that don’t want the best for you
It’s completely normal to hold on to a regret or two
I do what I want to do, they do what I let them do
Everything these niggas be sayin’ is a fuckin’ lie
There is nothing I can say to you that is realer
Remember when you raisin’ the butterfly
Don’t you ever disrespect the fucking caterpillar

[Chorus: King Green]
This right here for the number one
Number ones here with your number one
You ain’t number one, just another one
Now everybody sayin’ that they number one
Kid think your number won’t quit
Number one song, get your number one chick
Number one fly with your number one kick
When it’s all done then your number gon’ switch

[Verse 3: Eminem & Royce Da 5’9]
You looking at her tell her
The psychopathic killer, the caterpillar
Don’t tell me when I’m supposed to rap until
Especially when your favorite rapper ain’t even half as ill
A savage still, the track’s a banana peel, attack at a silver-back gorilla
You’re havin’ a little trouble fathomin’ this is actually happenin’
Like Anderson Silva back when he snapped his shin in half and then had the shit hangin’ by a flap of skin after he tried to plant the shit back on the mat again
Pad to pen I’m batty like eyelids when they’re blinkin’ a lot
You copy me, but you’re not
You can’t be butterflies
My offsprings are just moths
I see that thing I’ma squash it and rip the wings of it off
So ring the alarm, pull the extinguisher off of the wall, set the sprinklers off
Like Jada Pinkett and Queen Latifah
‘Till the shingles come off the roof will shatter the ceiling
Slaughterhouse in the building, middle fingers aloft
Say what I think when I rhyme, in ink-pen I talk
And the language I speak is my mind
Kingpin and Penguin combined
Spit like it’s King of the Dot
A singular thought I’d think I would help you distinguish your bomboclat from the cream of the crop
Wait a minute
Hold up like a flashcard
Damn dog, is that copyin’ or payin’ homage?
It’s sad because dad taught you to rap as a damn toddler
My dad is your grandfather
I have to rehatch on you
Come back as black wasp
Half yellow jacket, you can’t swat a
Sasquatch dancing on top of an ant trample it and stomp it
Smash it and stand on it
Dammit, I can’t stop it
The rap is a vag’ and I’m goin’ in like a tampon in this bitch
It’s a manslaughter
Stampin’ out grasshoppers, you can’t be no Rap Gods
In fact you’re exact opposites
You make a wack song, and can’t hold a candle
But even Daniel-son whacks off
You jack-offs need to come to grips like a hand job
The boom bap is coming back with an axe to mumble rap
Lumberjack with a hacksaw
Number one, but my pencils are number twos ’cause that’s all I dos with ’em
Poop is my suit and I’m
On the john like a prostitute when I’m droppin’ a deuce
And when I’m producing them lyrical bowel movements
These beats are like my saloon
’cause these bars always got my stools in ’em
And I don’t need Metamucil to loosen them
Bitch, shit is real like I pooped Jerusalem
I’m ’bout to go spin another cocoon and I’m cuttin’ you from your mother’s womb then I’m flushin’ you

CHANCE THE RAPPER – Big B’s lyrics

Big business
Like the opp say big business, you know what I’m saying, fucks
Yeah, now watch me

[Verse 1: Young Thug]
Handful of hunnids, real big Bentley
Hublot, nigga get some business
Whole lotta hoes, nigga get your women, heh
Stuff ‘er with the pole, come and get your women nigga
Big business, talk shit Wendy Williams, ooh
Catch ’em at the club sipping, fuck around they missing, hold on
Big pimping, iced out my crew now my mission complete
Pimp C, I ain’t doing that, I’ma fuck her on the sheets, yeah
And all my niggas loyal like Bun B, hold on
Fuck you thought? YSL till we d-i-e, hold on, hold on
Fuck around and set the bitch off like Queen Latifah
Hold on, hold on, yeah, going all out ’bout my dog like Scooby-ee
And a nigga trap door swinging like Bizzy B, woah
Outdated temporary tag on a Bentley B (Bentley B)
Two tone wire bag, double R, park it on the streets, yeah, hold on
Two tone wire bag, big tires tear up the streets, rwar
Looking at your kid, I might be the papi (sheesh)
65 pointers in the Cuban sheesh (damn, woah, sheesh)
Diamonds on the backside tearing up my skin, sheesh
Uh, your old man tryna do it like me, sheesh

[Chorus: Chance The Rapper]
Please, please
Treat me like you know who I am
Please, please
Bitch I know who I am, uh

[Verse 2: Chance The Rapper]
I got money on my card
Put some money on they books, that’s a yard
I declare war on the beast for my God, sheesh
Gross 3 mil off the new hat
If I could go back, I make the two cap
Love me in my city like Cusack
Get a little beat and I’ll loop that
Get a little money, I’ll oop that
Split it with my niggas in the group chat
Left for a minute then I flew back
Had to ask Bruce “where the truth at?”
Had to ask Rahm “where the truth at?”
Now I can’t ride with the roof back
Tell ’em I don’t play around with other people’s kids
Got an office in the steakhouse
Gotta bid for the ribs
Got a meeting at the Ritz
Gave a trip to my rib
‘Cause she leaving where I live but I see her in a min
Got a Michael prayer card for the good luck, ay
Bra push up when I pull up, ay
Got a little money from the tour, yeah
Spend it all on baby pull ups, ay
Big old Bentley, bitch I mix the Henny with the Simply
Lemonade exterior, Lorenzos under Bentleys
Put you in the friend zone if you start acting too friendly
Bought a baby Benzo and some Kenzo just for Kensli
Wake up real early but I eat late
Go and hit the streets with that brief case
Time to shake down another cheap skate
You could tell he’s lying, cheesecake

[Verse 3: Young Thug]
Make a nigga bitch tap out
Then put you in the fours with a real big body
Bitch said nigga need to stop got 100 racks on me
Can’t fit in my pocket
I’m a street nigga, I’ma eat me some soup, I’ma let my bitch eat pasta
Told y’all niggas ain’t stopping
Black card in my wallet, I’ma feed my partner
I was at one of my shows feeling like Cam’ron with the pink Margielas
We was tryna beat a murder capital, riding around the town with the pink Beretta
When I got in touch with the money, me and shawty fucked around and filled my schedule
Momma just sent me a picture got Indian in my family through my God damn nana
Young nigga fucked ’round, dropped out school, learned it all through the ID channel
Young nigga fucked around and ran out of bullets in the .40, got to get a banana
These young niggas go brazy, done got that money, they still might pop
So many blue faces on me right now, young nigga still gamble
35 racks for the factories, I steal mammals
I ain’t no rapper nigga, I teach ya
I’m a big dog, no pedigree, I eat racks
Boomerang your bitch sweet, she coming back

[Chorus: Chance The Rapper]
Please, please
Treat me like you know who I am
Please, please
Bitch I know who I am, uh

Gucci Mane – Out The Zoo (Woptober Album) letras

[Intro]
(Listen to this track bitch)
Woah, Wop
Hah, Wop
Woah, sheesh
Burr, toy
Skrt, Wizzop

[Verse 1]
I take the good with the bad and the bad with the good
The plug sent the goods so I had to flood the hood
The plug sent the bag then I offed that too
That made me a bigger asset to the plug
But tell me how you feel when your plug tell on ya
Your partner in crime on thugs tell on ya
Talking 20 years, 30 years, 50 years
In the cell feeling drunk like you drunk 80 pills
Homicide though, genocide when I ride
When we die, only God knows where the bullets fly
In my Hummer truck, Will is coming through my car door
I had contract killers staying at my condo
Got a hole in your folk just to show I ain’t bluffing
Gotta vest up cause I sure ain’t ducking
Standing in the cold on the corner, flash O’s
Sold his soul to the devil for a Mac-11
100 bricks of pure coke, white like heaven
My Mexican copped the lick, connect doing confession
Sitting in the pin, son just turned seven
I progress then regress and this shit is getting depressing
But I count my stash ‘fore I count my blessings
And I load my weapon ‘fore I eat my breakfast
The streets keep talking and the snitches keep telling
Your whole life can change in a motherfucking second

[Hook]
Out the cage in a rage like I escaped out the zoo
They playing games with me when they know that I’m a fool
Set it off like Queen Latifah, give me the loot or I’ma shoot
You nincompoops so rude-a-poo, you tuti-fruit, you through
I’m an animal, a cannibal, they say I’m on the loose
Animal, a cannibal, they say I’m on the loose
Gucci Mane La Flare, you prolly seen me on the news
Out the cage in a rage like I escaped out the zoo

[Verse 2]
I might manic, I go in ang panic, don’t see nothing but red
Off my millions I can’t sleep for days cause I hear voices in my head
This lil devil on my left shoulder say “shoot him in his dreads”
While an angel on the right whisper “just shoot him in the leg”
I admit that I might need some help, I guess I made a step
Man they think I need a shrink cause I fear God but don’t fear death
I’m so selfish, I bought 80 pints to drink ’em by myself
A swimming pool full of drank, I dive in like I’m Michael Phelps
Louis glasses, Ferragamo belt, I’m Gucci Mane XL
YSL with the new Gazelles that match my blue Chevelle
Bitches laughing like I’m Dave Chappelle cause I stay fresh as hell
Zone 6, Zone 6, you don’t like it? Kill yourself

[Hook]
Out the cage in a rage like I escaped out the zoo
They playing games with me when they know that I’m a fool
Set it off like Queen Latifah, give me the loot or I’ma shoot
You nincompoops, so rude-a-poo, you tuti-fruit, you through
I’m an animal, a cannibal, they say I’m on the loose
Animal, a cannibal, they say I’m on the loose
Gucci Mane La Flare, you prolly seen me on the news
Out the cage in a rage like I escaped out the zoo
