PLOT TWIST: Jennifer Hough Voluntarily Drops $20M Harrassment Lawsuit Against Nicki Minaj, Mr. Petty Remains A Defendant

Nicki Minaj is in the clear after her husband’s rape accuser, Jennifer Hough, voluntarily dropped her $20 million harassment lawsuit. Now, Nicki’s lawyer is coming after Jennifer’s lawyer, Tyrone Blackburn, for the $300,000 in legal fees Nicki had to cough up.

Kenneth Petty – Nicki’s husband – is still a defendant in the suit. Deets inside…

It’s all unicorns and rainbows for Nicki Minaj.

The $20 million harassment lawsuit filed against her by her husband’s rape accuser, Jennifer Hough. And she did it voluntarily with no financial settlement.

After Jennifer dropped the suit, the QUEEN raptress posted a unicorn emoji:

While Nicki is off the hook, her husband, Kenneth Petty, still remains a defendant.

Now, Nicki’s lawyer, Judd Bernstein, is ready to go to war with Jennifer’s “bottom-feeding” lawyer, Tyrone Blackburn, for litigating a “frivolous” lawsuit. His words, not ours.

In an email (obtained by TMZ), he called Tyrone out for basically wasting everyone’s time.

“In my view, your conduct in pursuing this case against Nicki represents the worst of our legal system: bottom-feeding lawyers who pursue frivolous actions against a celebrity assuming that they will be paid off if they throw enough dirt.”

Sheesh.

Mr. Bernstein is gunning to get Nicki’s $300,000 in legal fees BACK.

“You forced my client to spend over $300,000 in fees to defend a case which even my labradoodle, Gracie, could see was frivolous on both the facts and the law,” he wrote.

Whew. The shade of it all.

In August, Jennifer Hough filed a lawsuit against Kenneth Petty and his wife Nicki Minaj for intimidation and harassment. Even after she filed the lawsuit, she revealed a new threat on her life was issued from someone The Pettys know. In the lawsuit, Jennifer made claims The Pettys were trying everything in their power to get her to recant the rape allegations she made against Kenneth.

Nicki’s husband is facing up to 10 years in prison for failing to register as a sex offender in California. After striking a plea deal by entering a guilty plea, he will go before a judge for sentencing on January 24, 2022.
