Kim Kardashian West has jokes! And she’s using her pending divorce from Kanye West as a punchline during her "Saturday Night Live" monologue. Go inside to see how she did and what folks were saying about the couple inside…
Kim Kardashian West is in the building! And yes, she’s still adding West to her name.
On Saturday, Kim Kardashian West made her "Saturday Night Live" debut, hitting the stage in an all-pink ensemble to host. And chick cracked some good and cringey jokes during her monologue. Of course, she was spoonfed with all the help in the world from comedy honchos Dave Chappelle, Michelle Wolf, Ellen DeGeneres, Amy Schumer and James Corden, reportedly. She reportedly also rehearsed about 20 hours a day leading up to this because she was terrified of bombing.
The 40-year-old reality star opened the show with a proud introduction of herself as "Kim Kardashian West." And her estranged husband Kanye West, 44, was right in the audience to support after being spotted with Kim the night before (below).

The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" alum joked about her being labeled as a "gold digger."
"I’m excited to be here tonight to show you guys that I’m so much more than just a pretty face and good hair and great makeup and amazing boobs and a perfect butt," she said. "Basically, I’m just so much more than that reference photo my sisters showed their plastic surgeons."
"But the one thing I’m really proud of is that no one can ever call me a gold digger," Kardashian West continued. "Honestly, I’m not even sure how you become one. So I asked my mom’s boyfriend Corey [Gamble]."
Weak! Whoever wrote her jokes need a raise.
As you know, Kim K filed for divorce from Kanye in February. She used the high-profile breakup as a punchline on Ye’s personality.
"I’ve been very blessed in this life, and I’m grateful for everything, honestly, all the ups, all the downs," she said. "I mean, I married the best rapper of all time. Not only that, he’s the richest Black man in America, a talented, legit genius, who gave me four incredible kids."
She continued, "So when I divorced him, you have to know it came down to just one thing: his personality. I know it sounds mean, but people keep telling me that comedy comes from truth. And if there’s one thing that I always strive to be, it’s genuine."
Sources told Page Six the DONDA rapper left the audience shortly after the show’s opening. But before he left, Kim supposedly “blew a kiss” to her friends in the audience, which included Kanye, her bestie LaLa Anthony, her sister Khloe Kardashian, her momager Kris Jenner and her mom’s boyfriend, Corey Gamble.
Before her big moment, sources told PEOPLE that the mom-of-four was feeling pressure and anxiety before her gig, but Ye helped her out by giving her hosting tips.
In addition to cracking jokes on her family – including Caitlyn Jenner – she also joked about her late dad’s friend/former NFL star O.J. Simpson. She said her father, Robert Kardashian, introduced her to the first Black person she ever met.
“It’s because of my father I met my first Black person. Want to take a stab in the dark at who it was?," she asked with a grin on her face. "I know it’s sort of weird to remember your first Black person you met, but OJ [Simpson] does leave a mark. Or none at all, I still don’t know.”
WOW. Shocked, but not shocked she said this.
Below are some reactions to the OJ joke:

The bit about OJ Simpson was in extremely poor taste since Nicole and Ron Goldman were brutally murdered and her two kids lost their mother.

Kim Kardashian killed it in her SNL monologue, especially with those OJ Simpson jokes.

Kim Kardashian talking about OJ Simpson “stab in the dark” is an all-time SNL monologue right now.
