Twitter Thinks There’s More To ‘The View’ Co-Hosts’ ‘False Positive’ COVID Tests Hoopla From Show With VP Kamala Harris

"The View" co-hosts Sunny Hostin and Ana Navarro return to the show today after they were ushered off-air Friday following "false positive" COVID-19 tests before interviewing Madam Vice President Kamala Harris.

The hosts speak out about the ordeal on today’s show…

On Friday, Madam Vice President Kamala Harris was scheduled to do an interview with the ladies on "The View," but there was drama before the scheduled sitdown.

"The View" co-hosts Sunny Hostin and Ana Navarro were forced off-air Friday on LIVE television following false positive COVID-19 tests, it has emerged. Watch it go down below:

Sunny Hostin, 52, and guest host Ana Navarro, 49, both tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of an in-person interview with Madam Vice President Kamala Harris.

Its reported none of the hosts came in contact with VP Harris. After a delay, VP Harris conducted the interview from a remote location, answering questions from Joy Behar and Sara Haines:

Both Sunny & Ava (who are both vaccinated) returned to "The View" this morning to announce their test results were false positives.

“Everyone is safe, healthy, and covid-free. No one’s got it! It was a mistake of some sort,” Joy Behar exclaimed at the top of the show.

Sunny shared how the positive COVID-19 test made her "really uncomfortable" and how it affected not only herself, but her family as well. Her husband – who is a surgeon – was pulled out of the operating room after Sunny’s tests results were made public. Sunny’s kids were pulled from school and her parents were rushed to be tested.

“For me, it was particularly triggering, because not too long ago, I delivered the eulogy at my in-laws’ funeral. So you can imagine how I felt, thinking that I could possibly be covid-positive, and my family could experience another loss. A loss that I don’t think my husband could handle,” she said.

The false positive was especially frightening for Sunny since her husband lost both of his parents to covid in January.

@DonaldJTrumpJr, thanks for your concern.

I don’t have COVID.
Fortunately for you, if you want to have a conversation about the effects of obesity on people with COVID, your dad is a phone call away…assuming he answers your calls.

Or just ask your sister to call him for you. https://t.co/1v6GISIt5B

“I really want to acknowledge and apologize to Sunny and Ana, because in the midst of all this chaos, they were put in this position, where they had this information put out on television,” executive producer Brian Teta said during today’s show.

According to reports, hosts and staff on "The View" are tested for COVID-19 multiple times a week. It’s unclear how the ladies were allowed to go on-air without having their test results back first. The ladies were super "emotional" about their test results being shared on-air, allegedly without their permission.

CO-HOSTS ADDRESS FALSE POSITIVE COVID-19 RESULTS: After now testing negative multiple times, they look back on the events that played out on live television Friday when @sunny and @ananavarro received false positive COVID-19 results ahead of an interview with Vice Pres. Harris. pic.twitter.com/pH8G2As6CV

After news spread that the hosts received "false positives," social media kicked into overdrive with theories that there may be more to what’s really going on than we’re being told. Folks believe they had Sunny taken off-air because they didn’t want her to grill VP Harris about the treatment of Haitians trying to migrate to the United States:

The false-positive test stunt from the view proves that we absolutely should not be trusting reported COVID numbers…

How likely is it that Ana and Sunny’s dramatic walkout on The View after being told they had Covid was all pre-planned performance art designed to virtue-signal how much they care about "science"? https://t.co/fRysICxO2x

So Sunny’s Covid results were wrong and it was a false positive?! Lies they didn’t want Sunny to ask The VP about the poor treatment of Haitian Refugees. #theview. #unacceptable #justtellthetruth

The View is full of they pulled Ana & Sunny off the show Friday saying they had covid bc they didn’t want them to grill Kamala

— MATEO (@escotaylormade) September 27, 2021

so they didnt have covid? which goes back to the fact that sunny went viral for talking about haiti then magically cannot address vpotus when she comes to the view

Sunny suffered a recent loss from COVID and her husband, who is a surgeon, had to be pulled out of the OR, as a result of her false positive test.

This is why none of y’alls conspiracy theories are funny or acceptable.

Do better, folks. #theViewpic.twitter.com/fjUcwOy4O9

We all know the very well educated and well-spoken Sunny, Ana and VP Harris can MORE than handle a debate as that’s what they have done for a living as lawyers and in politics & media for decades.  They can do so without throwing bratty tempertantrums like a certain former co-host.

Still…do you think there’s more to the story or nah?
