A famous YouTuber is speaking out after he was arrested and charged by the FBI for allegedly running an illegal streaming service that allowed him to scoop up $30 million! Now, he’s facing 514 years behind bars!
Bill Omari Carrasquillo – known as Omi in a Hellcat online – was named in a 62-count indictment that alleged he’s the ringleader of a massive cable TV piracy fraud scheme.
The popular 35-year-old YouTuber, who is known for his collection of high-end cars, has been charged with conspiracy, violating the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), reproduction of a protected work, access device fraud, making false statements to a bank and money laundering.

The feds charged Omi and two of his associates (Jesse Gonzales of California and Michael Barone of New York) in a scheme that involved them illegally selling copyrighted video content to thousands of subscribers.
So here’s how they did it…
According to the indictment, the defendants allegedly used legitimate cable subscriptions from companies like Comcast, Verizon and DirecTV, and then bought encoders from China that allowed them to strip copyright protections and stream the video content over the Internet on servers controlled by Carrasquillo.
Customers paid a $15 monthly fee to subscribe to the allegedly illegal streaming service, which had a number of names since it launched in 2016, including “Reboot,” “Gears TV, “Reloaded,” and “Gears Reloaded.” On his YouTube account, Omi in a Hellcat would promote his streaming service to his 791,000 subscribers.
In November 2019, the feds raided his home and seized his cars, cameras and televisions. He told his YouTube followers he was going to jail "for a few years."
If convicted, Omi in a Hellcat will be spending more than just a "few years" in jail. He could spend the rest of his life in prison. Some outlets have reported he faces up to 514 years in prison.
The feds came knocking on his door to arrest him, which he livestreamed:

Hours after his arrest, he was released. Outside of his mansion in Philly, Omi spoke with a news reporter from Fox 29 Philadelphia about his federal digital piracy case. He questioned why he was the only one to get hit with federal charges and why others who "worked" the scheme with him are only being sued by the cable networks. We’re sure his lawyer was screaming at the television when he/she saw this:
In June, Omi posted a video titled "THE FBI IS BACK!!!," in which he shared with his followers that the FBI had seized more than 30 of his cars and millions of dollars from his bank account.

He just recently announced he has another baby on the way:
