Kanye West’s Las Vegas ‘DONDA’ Listening Party With Kevin Durant & More Leaves Attendees Amazed & Album is ‘Light Years Ahead’, So They Say

Kanye West hosted an album listening party in Las Vegas last night. And folks in attendance – like Kevin Durant and Internet personality Justin Laboy – are hyping it up as the next big musical offering. Take a listen to a few snippets and get more deets about Ye’s upcoming LP inside…

Yeezy Season is upon us.

Two years after Kanye West released his last album (Jesus Is King), the Chi-town creative is seemingly gearing up to release his highly anticipated musical offering titled DONDA. Fans have been patiently awaiting the arrival of DONDA, named after his late mother Donda West.

Last year while on the presidential campaign trail, the single father-of-four announced he was releasing DONDA on July 24th. Well, that never happened.

‘Ye hosted a private album listening party at a church in Las Vegas last night to play his new tunes in front of a few people, including NBA baller Kevin Durant and Internet personality Justin Laboy.  Below are flicks of folks lined up to get inside:

According to Twitter fan site @TheYzyZone, the cover art was created by French artist Louise Bourgeois. Read the meaning behind the painting below:

Louise Bourgeois made art to work through the trauma of losing her mother at a young age.

This is why Kanye chose his art to be his album cover for DONDA, the album for his mother.  pic.twitter.com/XCMVYW6iQI
