The Weeknd and Angelina Jolie fuel dating rumors after they were spotted attending the same private concert in L.A. recently on the heels of a dinner date they had last week. Receipts inside…

Singer The Weeknd and actress Angelina Jolie are fueling dating rumors after they both were spotted at the same event over the weekend. The spotting comes on the heels of a dinner date they went on less than two weeks ago.

Over the weekend, the Maleficent star, 46, and the After Hours singer, 31, were both seen attending a private concert for singer-songwriter Mustafa. Producer Metro Boomin’ was also in the mix:

The Canadian singer was seen with a group of his friends while Angelina was seen sitting next to her 16-year-old daughter Zahara and 15-year-old daughter Shiloh. Doesn’t sound like a typical date, but who knows.

Could it be a romantic situation? Possibly. It could be a random spotting or maybe it was coordinated.

What we do know is, The Weeknd and Angelia were both seen leaving Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica on June 30th. They were seen leaving the celeb hotspot (Rihanna’s fave) separately after allegedly spending hours inside the restaurant.

Word on the curb is that Angelina has been reconnecting with ex-husband Jonny Lee Miller, so her outings with The Weeknd may not be what they seem.

It’s possible The Weeknd was chopping it up with Angelina for acting tips since he’s developing a new series at HBO. He’s set to star in and co-write the series titled "The Idol", which follows a female pop singer who gets involved in a romantic relationship with an L.A. club owner who is also a leader of a secret cult.

“They’re clearly not trying to hide [the dinner],” a source told Page Six. “He’s definitely focused on getting to the movie business. He has the new HBO series he’s starring in.”

The Weeknd (real name Abel Tesfaye) co-created the series alongside "Euphoria" creator Sam Levinson and nightlife entrepreneur Reza Fahim.

The new series comes on the heels of the three-time Grammy Award winner starring in Adam Sandler’s Uncut Gems.

So, what do you think? Is The Weeknd having fun on the weekends with Angelina Jolie for acting tidbits or are they really a thing?  Either way, the PR and buzz is never a bad thing for actors in Hollywood.

Sound off in the comments!
